The Bulldogs have a potentially long layoff having had no games this past weekend, and the fate of the upcoming Matadors doubleheader still in the air. It is possible that the 6/15 Eagles game will be our last before the 7/5 Game against the Warriors... Let us hope not.
I propose we get as much work in as possible between now and Sunday. We all have things we can improve... Della-Penna's wardrobe, Wino's alcohol limit, and Boyd's projectile vomiting are prime examples. Here's our options:
Tuesday 6/23, 6pm John Herb Field: Rumor has it the field is open, and Ducks will be in attendence... Possible Scrimmage? The Ducks are in a tailspin, and will want to give us a good game. I will be in attendance - who's with me?
Wednesday or Thursday, 6pm, Location TBA - If we scrimmage today, then lets practice Thursday, and do what we do best after: Dollar Draft night at the Rochester. Ask Wino if you can have his open liquor sale from Sunday. He can't handle it.
Saturday - We are off. So are the Oilers. We are the only two teams in the league off. Scrimmage? Scout every other opposing team? I'll be the guy heckling my boy Scott Dunn from the Bleachers at Moore Park as the Gray Bats attempt to hand the Owlz loss #2. If only that Dunn kid could play baseball...
Saturday - Late afternoon/evening @ Guthrie's Crib - We have all been invited to a party. I'm going with Kenny Powers to meet Swoosh's sister. Swoosh, do you have a brother too? Strom and Wino are single and looking....
Sunday - Doubleheader vs. Matadors @ the Prairie. Philipp and Morgan. Rankin and Irvine. Della-Penna and Strom. Open and Closed deal, with some love in the middle. There will be a game versus the Matadors in some form. Lets take both, be at 9-9, and make it three consecutive weeks that the Rochester names a broken bar stool after us.

I could scrimmage today…someone send me a text if any baseball-type activity goes down tonight, BJ and Scott both have my number…Wednesday and Thursday don’t work so much, nor does Saturday…Hopefully we’ll play Sunday because I’ll be ready (I think the arm may even be ready for an inning or 2, finally!)
