The Dawgs invaded Brookline on Thurs night and came away with a 6-2 win over the Oilers. Both runs were unearned, as the Hebrew Oilers scored 2 runs on 4 errors in the bottom of the 4th to erase Dan Morgan's perfect game.

The Oilers only hit would come with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th, when some dude would pinch hit and hit one in the gap at Moore Park for a stand up triple. Dan would go on to get the next guy with a stellar play up the middle by himself to end the game.
We had some hits and they had some errors, which equaled 6 runs. The Dawgs now stand at 11-10. Several players and Bulldogs fans drank after the game in beautiful Brookline.
Tomorrow at work is going to suck.
We had a raccoon hanging out behind the bench for most of the game, eating nuts and gummy bears fed to him by our scorekeeper.. "Book" aka "Boobs".
Still undefeated in game with Billy Boyd on the bench... just saying.

Our one pitcher with the best shot at beating the Owlzzz.. Adam Philipp, has a strained bicep and won't be able the go on Sunday - we need him back for the playoffs.. The ball will be placed in the hands of young Jerry Irvine to get the job done. If Jerry can throw strikes, I think his mix of off speed stuff will keep the Owlzz off balance... it will come down to our defense and whether or not the offence shows up - 3 more games to go.... Let's finish strong, just like I'm about to finish this last beer.
