NABA League News – Draft

From the office of the commish:

With the draft a week away, it is still not too late to get signed up for the 2010 Pittsburgh NABA, but you’ve got to hurry!  We’ve got new teams, openings on old teams, and possibly even new leagues forming this year, and we would like for you to join us.

By 3/26, email the league with your intent to play in 2010.  Players who also submit a registration and deposit by that date are more likely to be selected in the Free Agent Draft.

You are also invited to the Free Agent Workout on March 28th.  Please RSVP to the league by 3/26 if you plan to attend.  Details for this event will be posted online, including any last minute changes due to field conditions.

Managers will begin contacting players after the draft on March 28th.

  1. I heard Joe Graff was offered up to the Hurricanes for a future draft pick, a bag of balls to be named later and cash. Any truth to this rumor?

  2. The trade offer was Graff for a bag of Hurricanes, a sexy future Asian, and a Johnny Cash photo autographed by Rick Beyer. We turned it down.
