Bulldogs Vacation Report Part #1

Enjoy part 1 of the vacation report.  This shit doesn’t make much sense but it was funny to us at the time.. I had to break it up into a 2 part series because some of the footage is kind of long.

Thurs Night Practice and Playoffs

We will be holding a Thurs night drinking practice at the Rochester.  We will be discussing game strategy for our Sunday playoff double header with the #1 seed “Pittsburgh” team.   We will also be coordinating our drinking efforts for Sunday night’s postgame drinking session.  All are welcome to attend the Thurs night “practice” at  the [...]

Pittsburgh Fall Baseball

We get a lot of traffic to the blog from people looking to fall baseball leagues in Pittsburgh..  So I thought I’d make mention of the NABA fall league.  (The Link about fall ball on the league website says “Access Denied” – FYI Joe).
Assuming the Fall League is still going down, visit http://pittsburghnaba.com/ for more [...]

Shark Week

Ladies and Gentlemen, you’ve waited 51 weeks for this week.
SHARK WEEK!
Yes, the old dawgs go to battle this week against the River City Sharks.  The old dawgs control their playoff destiny having games against the 10th, 5th, 6th, and 7th seeds in the PBL to finish out their season.
They will go into battle shorthanded, without [...]

Must Win Weekend

Three big games face the Bulldogs this upcoming Sunday.  The elder Bulldogs sit at 7-13 on the season and must win their remaining 8 games to finish above .500 and have a decent shot at the playoffs.  A 7-1 finish will leave us at .500 on the season.  This Sunday’s double header at Avonworth is [...]

Bulldogs Beat Beavers

The 28 and over Bulldogs finally got a victory after going over a  month since their last win.  Thankfully the rains held off in the first game, as the Bulldogs pounded out 10 runs against the rain soaked Beavers.  The Beavers kept clawing back and tied the game several times thanks to some sloppy defense.  [...]

No End in Sight

Contrary to rumors…. there is no demise in sight for your favorite Bulldogs.  There have been some changes to the rosters this year, but all is well.  The young guys have added some raw “Meat” to their lineup, and the veterans have chosen a more seasoned duck.  Both teams appear to be headed for a [...]

This is the End?

It seems that the blog is dieing a slow and painful death…
In the 2 weeks since the last update, I think the 28 and over team has been 10 runned 2 more times, and the NABA team was 15 runned by the Ducks and 10 runned by the Militia !?!
Injuries, vacations, people just not showing [...]
